I would like to thank Mike and Rich, of PokerRoomReview for their amazing effort in solving my problem with UltimateBet. Anyone who has played UB in the past few months knows about the infamous "upgrade" that pretty much destroyed the ability to complete a game. In my case (actually only one of my cases), it was a "test tournament" that was free to enter, but paid out real money. I fought my way through a field of 2,500 and was in an excellent back and forth heads-up battle. I forgot the other player|s name, but we had a blast. I had about a 2-1 chip lead when suddenly a message announced that the table would shut down after the next hand, which it did. My wife learned a few new words that day.
Anyway, I tried to communicate with UB for a couple of weeks to see what they planned to do about the situation. At first, they responded to my messages, but then all communication stopped. I know that they must have been awfully busy, but I just wanted someone to tell me that they would eventually get to it. It finally occurred to me that there must be a place to at least post my complaints. That|s when I (with Google|s help) found PokerRoomReview. I was (and still am) amazed at the level of attention that Rich and Mike paid to my case. They immediately contacted UB and got a response, which speaks to their reputation among the gaming sites. It took a few weeks, but they never let up on UB. Finally, today, I saw an increase in my account, which must have come as a result of that game.
In fairness to UB, they did come through on their promise to resolve the games that were hung up. Also, they must have been absolutely crazy with issues from that time period, so I can understand slow response. I have to say though, that they (and others) might not feel compelled to resolve these issues if not for the pressure from the guys at PokerRoomReview.
Great job guys!!!!
